Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I have recently been falsely accused of stalking and harassment by the little brother of my ex boyfriend, who just so happens to be facing trial for assaulting me this past June. There are so many holes in my accuser's story that I have little doubt the case will be thrown out entirely. And even my public defendant in this case is glad that I refuse to agree to the lesser charge of harassment with probation, and has said that, in her opinion, the current charges are grossly inflated (even if one breath of it were true, which it is not). And I cannot sit back and allow him to attempt to ruin my life and not file charges against him and his two friends - the other "witnesses" - for having such a blatant disregard for actual justice. I know that before I can do anything, I have to beat the false charges against me. My question is, what can I do once I am free and clear of said charges? I am not looking for a settlement; I would only seek restitution in the form of legal fees. Any advice would be helpful.
