Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
recently four prostitutes were murdered in my area, and the police were conducting an investigation, i happened to know some prostitues, am i required to report them, also could be in trouble if the prostitutes i knew were involved in the murders and i failed to report them , even though i was unaware of them being involved , i eventually did report them , only a few months after the crime took place, would i be in trouble if they were involved, for example that i would have prevented a crime if i did report them immediately, even though i was unaware of them knowing anything about the murders

You question is a bit difficult to understand. If you had nothing to do with the murders you should have nothing to fear. If you lied to protect a suspect that is another matter.
