Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
How to remove a court record from public view?
I was charged with 'aggravated assault' in June 2006 and given 1 year probation - which I completed.
How long will the record be available for the public to see it ? Is there any legal way to remove the record - or am I doomed for-ever?

You have to wait ten years after the completion of your sentence before you can apply for an expungement to clear off your criminal record.
