My Rights When Cops Come to the Door at Party
If I am having a kegger party, and we are all ages 18-20 and drinking, and the cops come to the house because of a noise complaint, what are my rights, and what should I do so that we get in the least amount of trouble? I heard the cops cannot come in without a warrant, is this true? Also, would it be wise to tell the truth and admit that we were drinking if they asked, or lie about it, even though it would probably be obvious that we were drinking?

Re: My Rights When Cops Come to the Door at Party
Better yet, don't have a kegger party because people are going to leave your house intoxicated and become in accidents and die and you are going to be sued for millions of dollars.
