Can a police officer search your car without permission. Stopped for a fine not being paid and cqr towed. The fine was paid and DMV gave me all the neccessary papers to prove it. I am 9 mos pregnant and was arrested on false charges.

It all depends on whether it was necessary to tow the car. If the car was legally parked it should have been left there. The car can be "inventoried" once it is legally towed.
