Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Can I be sentenced to jail time if I violate a restraining order if I was told the restraining order was droped and allowed to move back into the home of the person who had the restraining order put in affect I have a criminal history wich makes it bad

You need a lawyer. Just because you thought the person may have dropped the matter doesn't automatically make for a "NOT GUILTY"....
