Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Sentencing

I have a Federal and State Charges w/c I pleaded guilty for both. I am facing time for both charges and I'm free on bail w/an ankle bracelet.June 11 will be my sentencing date for my State charge. I am waiting for my Federal sentencing date. According to my counsel is that both sentences will run concurrent. My question is am I going to be locked up tomorrow in State prison even though I'm still awaiting sentencing date on my Federal charge? Or do you think that my counsel can ask for an adjournment until I got sentenced on my Federal since it will be run concurrent w/one another. Please give me an advice. I have a 9 yrs. old son and a new born baby girl. We are also in the process of moving to another apartment beginning tomorrow. What is the best thing for me to do? And also, I am cooperating with the Federal Government regarding my case.

Re: Sentencing

Ask for the court's permission to surrender on Monday or Tuesday. Also explain that you will need this time to help your family to move. AND THEN KEEP YOUR WORD AND SHOW UP AS PROMISED.
