I would like to know if I could seperate my case in a criminal court matter

I think you'll have to provide a little more information in order to get a useful answer.. What are you charged with? What actually happened? What is your goal? I handle a lot of criminal cases, and getting good information from my client is always an important step in formulating a plan.

I believe that you are asking whether you can have a trial which is separate from the trial of your codefendant or codefendants. The answer is that a separate trial for you would have to be based on your avoiding the prejudice which being tried with your codefendant or codefendants might cause.
