Re: sexual assault vs rape
Rape is a term from the old New Jersey criminal laws. It was defined as the penetration of the female sex organ by the male sex organ by means of force or coercion and against the will of the female.
Sexual assault is a category of prohibited sexual touchings which includes sexual assault where there is sexual intercourse without against another persons will.
If you have an actual sex crime charged against you, you should call me for a consultation.
