Re: Shoplifting- misdemeanor disorderly conduct

I specialize in shoplifting cases. It seems as if I am in court on them on a daily basis. If it is his first offense it can be negotiated down to a lesser offense that would take it out of theft. If you retain a creative attorney they may be able to get the case dismissed. If this is in paramus, I go there almost every wednesday and am very familiar with the court and how it works. I can be reached at 201\646\9600.

To be very honest with you, this is a fairly minor charge.

The type of thing most any attorney that regularly handles

Criminal cases can handle well.

There are a multitude of things to consider, such as immigration

Status, career and school ambitions, professional licenses

Sought etc. Which are to be considered. I would go with the one

Who seemed most understanding of that fact.

Much luck. You may reach us at 2127098303

Re: Shoplifting- misdemeanor disorderly conduct

As a first offender for shoplifting there is not really a lot to fear. First offenders do no go to jail and the usual punishment is a small fine of, perhaps, $150.00. There is one large problem and it is that shoplifting equals theft, a crime of moral turpitude, and a conviction for same can be a long term bar to working in a bank, investment company, computer company and many other lines of work.

The usual solution to someone caught shoplifting for the very first time is to get the prosecutor to agree to amending the charge to some vague form

of being disorder which is not theft and this solution is often available.

Call me if you like.
