Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Signature permission
Recently I helped an old college friend who is not financially ''inclined'' to open an online brokerage account. In an effort to assist him, I filled out all of the application paperwork for him. Being that we live states away, he told me just to sign his name for him in an effort to save fedx fees. Since I had his explicit permission from him, is this OK?

You are covered so long as he remembers he gave you permission. You should required at least email authorization to sign his name of a fax.
