Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
using my sisters drivers license
i got a ticket for no insurance or registration on a brand new car when temporary plates. I used my sisters name becuase mine was suspended now she wanted to tell the court itwasnt her. What kind of trouble can i get in for using someone elses name in court?

You could be charged with giving false information to a police officer, but if the matter is handled properly you can avoid additional charges.

I would suggest getting an attorney as you would be facing criminal charges and thus, getting a criminal record which I'm sure you would want to avoid.
