Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
If someone spikes your drink and you commit a crime, e.g, manslaughter. If you are able to figure out who did it, does the person get charged for the crime you committed or do you still get in trouble??

Voluntary intoxication is not a defense, but involuntary intoxication could be a defense, if you can demonstrate that whatever substance was put into your drink caused a temporary condition of legal insanity or would negate the intent required for being guilty of the offense. Call me if you like.
