Re: State of NJ Commission of Investigation

I would advise you to get an attorney right away! You have to understand that busting state employees and making examples out of them is the top priority in this state (with both State and Federal Law enf). Without an attorney, you have no idea what type of hole you are digging for yourself or if you are even digging one.

You also have to understand that law enforcement does not always tell you the truth and they are allowed to lie to you to some extent. They do not have your best interests in mind.

I suggest you get an attorney before it is too late.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

I don't know what you think is a minor wrongdoing, but you should have taken a lawyer with you. There should be some WRITTEN assurances as to what your cooperation will get you. You should hire an attorney NOW.

Call me if you like.

I agree with both of the other attorneys, you should consult with counsel and not be rushed by the oral assurances of a criminal investigator that you are in the clear.

If there is nothing "wrong" then the investigator should be OK with it. If there is an objection, be forewarned.
