Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
In the state of NJ I am looking at a criminal charge involving restitution.....the plaintiff also has a civil matter for the same offense. If convicted with the criminal charge and I must pay the restitution for the criminal matter must I also pay restitution for civil court with the same matter when I already have the criminal restitution on me? Basically is it possible I have to pay two restitutions for the same matter?

You must pay restitution once and then give proof of same to the Court when the matter is scheduled so that the civil case can be dismissed.
