Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Statue of Limitation for N.J.S. 2C-33-4A
The Super of my former Apartment building signed a Complaint against me after a fire in my apartment in July, 2008. We engaged in a verbal dispute due to her giving the Jersey City Fire Inspector and myself ficticious contact Information of my Landlord. The Super signed the complaint on 27 Feb 09. I have relocated and have not heard or seen this woman since 31 July 08. The Super signed the complaint as a reprisal of a Legal Action due to the fire. What is the Statue of Limitation for the above charge?
