I will simply answer the question that you obviously have. Theft by deception is an offense which is graded by the value of the item or thing allegedly stolen using deception.

Where the value of the thing stolen is

at least $500.00 and less than $75,000.00 a theft by deception is graded as a third degree offense with a maximum sentence of five years.
