Stolen Cell phone
I was working at a party in a private home and someone went in my bag and stole my cell phone. My bag was were the homeowner told me to place it . Is the homeowner responsible for replacing the cell phone?

This is an interesting question for a law school class.
The short, practical answer is to contact the homeowner and ask them to replace your phone or turn a claim in to their homeowner insurance.
There is not enough money involved to go to court regardless of the possible outcome of litigation.
