If I reveive a subpoena to go to court and I do not show up - what will happen to me

A warrant may be issued for your arrest and you may be charged with contempt of court and punished for same.

You will get hit with a contempt of court charge, which is a felony. I am going to court tommorow with a client that did the same thing.
