Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I had a Temporary Restraining Order against my step sister and originally I wanted to proceed and try to get a permanent restraining order but I basically can't keep the charges so when I have to go to court Ii was going to try to drop them. Is it possible that the judge could grant the restraining order anyway if he believed the l was being coerced into dropping the charges?

It sounds like you have a horrible situation. To answer your question, yes. The Judge can refuse to drop the restraining order. It really sounds like you need some good advice on this.
