Re: theft charge

Best case, you walk out with nothing but bills from your attorney. Worst case, 5 years in prison.

Re: theft charge

The penalties can range from: admission into the pre-trial intervention program if this is a first offense, to 5 years in State prison. The latter would generally occur if you had prior convictions.

Re: theft charge

The maximum sentence for third degree theft is five years in prison. If you are a first offender there is a presumption of a noncustodial sentence, meaning no jail.

You should give me a call. I am the right lawyer for your case.

Re: theft charge

There is no definite answer to your question. The MAXIMUM is five years in state prison, but the minimum would be determined when the whole case is worked through by your attorney. Depending upon the facts of the case it may even be possible to get the charge dismissed completely. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout NJ in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
