Theft by deception
My friend charged a home theater and lcd tv on my credit card worth $5000 and now refused to pay.Can i charge her theft by deception and should i go to the police?

That's some friend. Yeah, I would go to the police and sign a complaint. You may also want to cancel your credit cards, get new ones, and contact your credit card company and notify them of what happened. Sometimes, the police won't help you in these situations.
