Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Hi I got a ticket for standing on the sidewalk. the cops told me that i was asked to move and that i didnt listen and he gave me and my friends, that i was with, a ticket. We would have move away if we were asked to. Two cops gave all us tickets for what they called "obstruction of public passage". We literally were walking back to my apartment when we stopped to talk for like less than 30 seconds then the cops saw us and came up to us as we were about to walk away. They asked for our id and out address to send the ticket to. Was this fair? We are very confused and i don't believe that what they did was right.

This just sounds like police abusing their authority to me. The cop who did this should be ashamed of himself. I would fight this ticket if I was you. Please call me if you would like to discuss it further.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-

As the other attorney said, sounds crazy but you shouldn't expect the system to agree with you without a fight. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss further.
