Colorado will only accept your as a courtesy, not by law. Thus, if they don't accept you, there's not much you can do.

If you really, really want to get around this, you could attack your initial guilty plea to try to undo the probation.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

If probation in Colorado was actually contacted and they refused the proposed transfer of probation you have a problem. On the other hand, if

your present probation officer is the

problem a motion can be filed on your behalf with the Court.

Call me if you like.

See if your NJ probation office would allow you to reside in Colorado while still reporting to probation in NJ.
