Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

If u have been charged with theft by decption from a guy who says he's your employer how does he have to prove he employed you

What? Forty years as a lawyer and this is new to me. The proof wouldl be by proving the usual incidents of employment, cancelled checks, tax withholding forms, signed by you, etc. You should give me a call.
