Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
My uncle was charged with 2c:17 3a(1), 2c:35 10c, 2c:33 14a(1). It was like interference with transportation, criminal mischief, and failure to give police CDS, He missed the first court date and they issued a type of warrant. He just got a letter from the prosecutors office listing the above charges they downgraded them. He doesn't know whether to just walk in to the station or contact a lawyer. What should he do?

DO NOT "just walk in to the station". Even though the charges have been downgraded (a good thing), he could still get arrested or make a statement that could put him in jail. Your uncle needs to talk to a lawyer. If he would like to discuss it with me, he should call 877\688\3879.
He should talk to a lawyer. I do criminal defense work for a living and I do not charge for just talking to a person about their case. Please ask your uncle to contact me. Thank you.

He should call an attorney ASAP to work this out. I have an office in Toms River, so call me at 732/773/2768.
Walking into the station is a bad idea. He should talk to an attorney asap. Feel free to give our offices a call.
It always makes sense to get some advice before acting. I am available if you ( or your uncle ) want to talk....by the way, what County brought the charges? Is he aware that he will most likely have to post some bail because of his failure to appear? My main office # is 215 592 0033
