Gambling charges are a major focus area for my firm. You have the right idea to get an attorney. I think your question is, are you better to just plea guilty now or to plea not guilty but wind up being found guilty.
Well if you are going to plea guilty without any type of plea bargain, then your sentence should be the same. The Judge cannot give you an increased sentence just because you took it to trial.
I suggest you speak to an attorney to discuss the facts of the case and your options. My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 and then you can decide how you would like to proceed.

It will probably make no difference, unless you have a substantial criminal record.
Call me if you like.
