Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
It is unusual for a county prosecutor to take several months before deciding to dismiss a charge? Can anything be assumed by the time frame? I.E. The longer it goes the more chance that an indictment will be pursued?

If he had only one criminal case in his office, his delay in acting on same might mean something. If he has a busy office, it is difficult even to guess the reason.
