is it possible to be arrested post bail then 3 days later be arrested for violating probation

Yes. Violation of probation is a separate charge making you vulnerable to being resentenced on the charge on which you received probation.

Possible? This happens all the time. The VOP takes a few days to process although I'm a bit of a cynic so I think this is done on purpose on at least some occassions.

Regardless, you should see an attorney ASAP because VOP's are real tough to win.
