Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Violation 0f Probation
What happens if you violate probation? Are you automatically arrested or are you given a court date? if a warrant is issued is there a way to take care of it before you're arrested and how do you know if one was issued?

All of your listed possibilities are possible. There may simply be a court date or a warrant may issue for your arrest. It is something within the discretion of the probation officer.
