Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Violation of Probation

My boyfriend was caught with possession of marijuana under 50 grams - he was given a conditional discharge and put on probation for 1 yr. His p/o asked him for a urine sample and my boyfriend was not able to pee - The p/o had him sign an admittance form being he couldnt provide a sample, he assumed he was dirty and sent us back to court. We have court in 2 weeks - What is the penalty or charge involved w/ this??

Re: Violation of Probation

Who was his lawyer for that case? They should be able to give you a good read on the situation...

If you don't want to continue with that lawyer, write me and I'll run his name and case to find out more details and tell you what to expect.

Re: Violation of Probation

He may be violated and have to go to jail, or he may just be forgiven and set back on probation... You should have your attorney confirm with probation what they intend to suggest at the court date, you may be able to get the same info from his officer, but I doubt it.

If you do not have a private attorney you may contat us at 212.709.8303
