Re: wandering charge
Fine, probation is possible. Keep in mind that you will have a criminal record. If you want to avoid one, I would suggest you see an attorney.
My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
Re: wandering charge
This is a Disorderly Person Offense, and the maximum penalties are $1,000.00 in fines and 6 months in jail. Usually if you have a clean criminal history you will receive probation instead of jail. If you are convicted you will have a criminal record which can only be expunged after five years. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
