Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
A week ago my daughter was arrested for shoplifting from walmart a 28 dollar IPhone case. She was not fingerprinted, pictured, or questioned. They said we would get the papers in a new days and it has been a week. No one is following up with us, should I call the police station or court and see whats going on? This is her first offense and she does good in school home etc. Never been in trouble before.
