Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

will he serve time again?

my son was arrested in nj. bailed out. after that arrested on ny, serving time now. he was supposed to serve time for both ny, and nj. now he is about to be released and nj is asking for him to be judge, is this possible? he was wrong? thinking that the cases were running together? he is going to court tomorrow he is scared and i am worry and confused

If he was out on bail and not sentenced in NJ, he probably will not get the time. His attorney should have set this up, looks like that didn't happen. I'm guessing he didn't have a good attorney here in NJ?

Maybe its not too late to get one.
