Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New Jersey
I was discriminated against for age ...
I am a 19 year old from Philadelphia and I went to the shore with 5 of my friends ages 17 - 21 to rent a property for the summer. The real estate told me that they do not rent to anyone under the age of 25 and they don't have group rentals. Is this legal?

Re: I was discriminated against for age ...
You asked if it was legal to discriminate against renters under 25 and group rentals.
Yes, it is legal. You are not members of a protected class against whom it would be illegal to discriminate. And not renting to a group is simply a business decision.
There are agents who will rent to you, but you will pay a hefty fee. They are experienced with such renters. And know how to price their product.
