If you have pled guilty or been found guilty you can file to expunge the conviction five years after you have served the sentence, if any, paid the fine and penalties and served out any period of probation, if any.

If you are a first offender, you can apply for first offender treatment; be supervised by a probation officer for a period of six months to a year and then apply for expungement when the charge is dismissed when you have completed the period of supervision by a probation officer.
