The court ordered interlock device be installed for 6 months, my question is what if I don't have a car?

Unfortunately you will need to place an interlock in either your car, or the car you will principally drive. Until you do this, you will not be able to get your license reinstated from DMV, and should you drive you will face enhanced penalties.
In your case, you will need to find a family member or friend whose car you will be driving, that can have the interlock installed.

I would agree with the previous answer. If you do not drive at all you might want to go back to municipal court for a further explanation
