Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

Getting Driver License Back in NJ

I've had seven DWIs in the State of NJ since 1983. I have been sober since 11/12/2006 via a long-term intensive outpatient program and AA... I only have a motor vehicle record and not a criminal record. Is there any hope for me to even get a ''conditional'' license to drive to and from work like other states? NJ has no such law to date (as far as I know)....

Re: Getting Driver License Back in NJ

There is always a way to get your DL back. However, 7 DWI's in about 20 year is rare event. Being sober for about 18 months isn't exactly a track record that will make everyone roll out the red carpet for you.

This may even be more of a long term project then a quick case. I would probably have to refer you to another attorney due to my current schedule. Feel free to give me a call to discuss your case in more detail.
