Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

serious driving charges

should a person plead guilty if he or she is charged with DUI, driving w/o a license, reckless driving? They are guilty but trying to clean up w/o a record so they dont lose their job and can get a promotion (co. will do a felony search).

Re: serious driving charges

These are traffic tickets, not criminal charges, so they won't show up on a criminal background check. However, they are about as serious as you can get for traffic tickets, so I would advise you to call, and probably hire, a lawyer to represent you and try to minimize the severe penalties you are facing (heavy fines, lots of points, loss of driver's license, etc.). I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

You should not plead guilty. You should get a private attorney. Feel free to give our offices a call or e-mail me directly.
