Re: dui punishment

Go to court, tell the judge exactly what you said here, and everything will probably be alright as long as you now do the community service. If things don't go good in court ask for an adjournment to hire a lawyer and then contact me. I have done very many DWI/DUI cases in courts throughout New Jersey in the past, so if you need help I can help you.

Community service can be at any institution, agency or for any group

which is convenient for you. If there is a nursing home near you which is convenient or if you attend church or if you participate in a social club benefitting other people you can do your community service as you chose.

Getting itover with is a common reaction which leads to negative consequences. Have me come to court with you and I will straighten out the problem in some way that you can live with.

Call me if you like.

Re: dui punishment

You say you are being called back to court for failing to do the community service, but you never got called to do the community service. In my experience, the most common cause for this is that the office that handles the community service has an old address for you and they sent a letter that you never received. The next most common cause is that they had the right address but it got lost (do you live in an apartment? or do other people sometimes pick up your mail?) Based on what I've seen in the past, a good lawyer should be able to convince the judge that it was not your fault and get it sent back to try again. Don't ignore it or your license will be suspended and a warrant will be issued for your arrest. Not worth it. Call me if you would like to discuss it further at 877*688*3879.
