Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

DWI on a ATV

I blew a .10% BAC on a registered and insured all terrain vehicle. Is there any loop were I wouldnt have to be consequenced to the normal DWI laws? Do I have a chance of keeping my license?

Re: DWI on a ATV

The drunk driving law applies to motor vehicles. If you vehicle was driven by an engine of some kind the drunk driving law applies.

You should have a serious discussion about your case with an attorney experience with dwi cases. I am such an attorney.

Call me if you like.

Re: DWI on a ATV

Without knowing anything else, you have a great chance. My experts usually do a great job of ripping apart a .10. The fact that you were on an ATV doesn't matter. You could have been on anything with wheels and a motor and its the same offense.

Again, you stand a really good shot to keep your DL. Please do yourself a favor and get a good attorney!

I practice in the Morris/Sussex area so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case. My initial consultations are always free!
