Re: dwi conviction

A conviction for DWI is not considered to be a criminal conviction in New Jersey - it is a traffic violation. Depending upon how far the police want to investigate, they would be able to uncover a DWI conviction that you have. If you have any other questions about this, please call me at 908-272-0111. I have handled very many DWI cases in various courts in New Jersey in the past so I can probably answer any questions you have. Thank you.

Re: dwi conviction

Dwi is a motor vehicle offense in New Jersey and the record of same can be in a motor vehicle record check. It is not a criminal offense; it is part of the motor vehicle code and not a part of New Jersey' motor vehicle code.
