Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey
Ok so I have a DWI (2nd offense) pending in NJ. If it goes thru I'll loose my license for 2 yrs which I cant afford to do as I work, go to school, and also in military Reserves. My question is, what can happen to me if I go to PA to get a license before NJ takes mine? I have a few buddies who are cops and they say with out of state IDs they dont get any information on that person unless they have warrants which means they wouldnt be able to tell that they have a NJ suspension. I also understand that there is a National Driver Registery now but from what I hear is that if I get a license before its suspended from PA than PA wouldnt know about it until that PA license needs to be renewed such as it having expirered in which case at that point then a red flag would pop up and I would be denied. So my question is, is what I have said thus far true? And if so (and if not) than what is the worst case scenario for me trying to obtain a PA license if my NJ license is going to be suspended?

Before you get involved in trying to evade the effects of your dui charge you should consult with an attorney to determine whether there is a defense available to. Call me. You have nothing to lose by consulting with an attorney as to your dui charge.
Call me if you like.
I agree with Mr. Moore. Get a good attorney if you don't already have one. I can refer one to you. Think about it this way: if it was that easy, wouldn't everyone do that?
