Without seeing your traffic summons, I would expect that you are charged under the law of New Jersey, a violation of N.J.S.A. 39:4-50. The penalties are the same as they are for a charge made by a New Jersey police officer in a municipal court.

A first offender can lose his driving privileges in New Jersey for three or seven to twelve months, depending upon the breath teat reading. You should have an indepth consultation with a good

dui lawyer, such as myself.

Call me if you like.

If you are found guilty or plead guilty, depending on the reading, you can lose your license for 3 to 7 months, or 12....

It is not something to play around with.

You should consult a lawyer.

If you are found guilty then you are facing heavy fines and surcharges as well as mandatory drunk driving school and loss of your driving privileges for several months. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
