Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

Obtaining PA License When NJ License if Going to be Suspended

Hello. If my NJ drivers license gets suspended, would it be possible for me to establish residency in PA and obtain a license there before I lose my license in NJ? I work in PA and need to drive at work. I realize that I would not be able to drive in NJ at all during the suspension. Also, does the court physically take your license from you at the time of the suspension? What would NJ do if I no longer had a NJ license, but a PA one instead? Thanks

You should first evaluate the dwi case pending

against you with the assistance of an attorney. You may have a defense. I will charge you a reasonable fee for this service.

Secondly, Pennsylvania does not always recognize a New Jersey dwi conviction. You should call Pennsylvania Motor Vehicles and ask some questions.

Call me if you like.
