If you are found guilty of Driving When License Suspended (39:3-40), you can lose your license for an additional 6 months. The fines and mandatory jail terms increase with subsequent offenses.

Your driving record is never "wiped clean" so even after you get your license back, if you lose your license again, and are convicted of "driving while revoked", it counts as a subsequent offense. You never go back to "zero".
