Legal Question in Elder Law in New Jersey
death benefits
My father died three weeks ago. I
was left an ins. policy as sole beneficiary. He also had a small money market account at a local bank on which I was also named his
beneficiary. After I pay his funeral
expenses and his visa balance, do
I have to pay any other bills that come in from this money that was
left to me as his beneficiary? He did
not own property and he resided in
NJ. I also reside in NJ.
