Legal Question in Elder Law in New Jersey
What questions to ask?
I have POA for my brother, who has Alzheimer's. He is about to be transferred (by the hospital) to a nursing home for 24-hour care. I have an appointment with an elder care attorney, but I frankly don't know what questions I should be prepared to ask. Any advice?

I am not sure what you are going to an attorney for if it is to become your brother's guardian, or if it is for asset protection, or medicaid planning? So I guess ask him about all 3 of the above and also the charges for the various items.
