Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
2c:13-4 and harassment
I have physical custody of three minor children. My ex-wife now resides in Las Vegas. She continously takes the children without the court or my consent. This is usually followed by her lodging complaints with DYFS. She has currently taken our 15 year old son. I recieved an order from the court to retrieve my son. I also attempted on two separate ocassions to lodge criminal complaints with my local police department. They deny my wishes, dismissing them as an issue for the family courts. What are my options and what can I do to have the complaints filed locally Newark New Jersey.

I assume you are doing all of this without an attorney because that is the treatment that you often get without one. Thus, get a good attorney to fight this ASAP and get ready for the fight. Call me anytime.

You really should get a divorce attorney, and then take strong action to put a stop to this nonsense.
Her actions are outrageous. It is pretty clear that no one is paying attention to you, and you are likely to get a lot more results with a good lawyer fighting for you.
Please call me if you would like me to assist you. I am in Hackensack, right across from the Bergen County Courthouse. I have handled plenty of hearings in Newark at the divorce court.

I believe that you need to file a motion for the judge to make a referral for a criminal complaint against her.
Call me if you like.
