Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I have a 2 year old daughter & share joint legal & physical custody with my ex wife. I currently live about 10-15 minutes from the state border (NJ/PA) and am contemplating a move over into the other state. This would change the commute for drop-offs and pick-ups for both of us (our agreement states that whoever is commencing parenting time picks up at the others' house). We have an agreed upon radius of 20 miles for future moves, but nothing was agreed upon for out-of-state moves. Will I be at risk of losing the amount of overnights/time I have with my daughter if I make this move (even if I am able to continue with my parental responsibilities.....daycare drop-offs, pick-ups, etc.)?

Yes, I suggest you speak to an attorney and do this the right way. Hopefully, you can avoid going to court over it. 732/773/2768
